Welcome !!
We hope you will like living here and that you will become an active
homeowner.
Here is some information you might find
useful:

|
When you had closing on your new home, you should have received a copy of the
Homeowners Association By-Laws, the Architectural Standards
and the Covenants. We strongly encourage you to read
through these documents and familiarize yourself with the rules of the
neighborhood. If you have any questions then you are more
than welcome to ask about it at the next homeowners meeting. Watch the
bulletin board at the entrance where the next meeting date will be
announced.
In case you did not receive these important
documents then
you can find a copy of them here on this website under
[HOA By-Laws]

We have a meeting every month for all homeowners and
residents in Olde Peachtree Station. The meeting date, time and
location is announced on the bulletin board located on the right just as
you are leaving the sub-division. The meetings are typically held on a
Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 9:00pm and are open to everybody.
The Homeowners Association board members usually meets
just before the open meeting, so if you happen to be early, please wait
until 7:30 before you join, as the board needs to finish up first.
In the summer time the meetings are held at the
pavilion next to the tennis courts. In the winter when it gets cold, the
meetings are held either at Collins Hill Library or at Collins Hill High
School.
If you have specific topics you would like to have
discussed at a meeting, please contact the president 5 days before the
meeting to allow for your topic to be put on the agenda.
In addition to the monthly meetings there is an annual
meeting, typically held in November every year. Details about this
meeting are announced on this website and on the bulletin board at the
entrance.

In 2007 we changed the lock system at the
pool to be fully electronic. A Key Card was given to every home in the
subdivision and the key card was activated for all homeowners who had paid
their association fee in full. The key card is reused every year and should
have been handed to you from the previous owner at closing.
In case you did not receive a key card from
the previous owner when
you moved in, then the first thing to do is to contact the previous owner
and ask for the key. If that does not help, then you can contact any of the
Board members of the Homeowners
Association who will then arrange for you to get a key card.
If you loose your key, you can contact anyone
on the board who will then get you a new key. A fee
will be charged for such replacement keys! Please note that a home can
only have 1 active key! If you get a replacement key, the previously issued
key will no longer work. The fee for a replacement key will not be refunded,
so be careful not to loose your key.

We can always use help with something so
if you are willing to spend a little time doing something good for your
neighborhood, then contact the board and let them know.
If you look at the
[HOA Board] page, you will see that there
sometimes are open positions for the different functions in the
association. If you have skills that could be put to good use, then
please come forward and sign up.
We specifically need people to sign up as
Pool Volunteers every summer. The pool needs to be opened and closed
every day, a task which is performed by volunteers. The job is very
simple and not time consuming. Please contact the board if you can take
a week of the pool season.

If you have any questions, about anything going on in
the neighborhood, then feel free to contact any of the board members, or
the chairpersons for the different committees. You can find their
contact information on the [HOA Board] page.
You should also make a point of showing up at the next Association
meeting (see above) so you can get 'plugged in' in what is going on
around here.
